Reviews

In the project reviews, you report about your project progress and the decisions you made, be it about your management processes or the design of your software. Like the upper management of a company, we use these reports to assess your performance. Therefore, you also have to submit the review slides.

Review 1

The review will be held group-wise and will take about one hour each (30 min. presentation + 15-20 min. questions). Use the following agenda as a guideline to prepare your presentation:

Introduction (5 min.)
Introduce your project and your team, since part of the audience does not know you and your project topic.
Project Specifications (20 min.)
Present your development process, including how you write code and how you make design decisions. Give us an overview of the risks you identified for your project and discuss your strategies for mitigating the most important of these risk. Introduce your requirements and change management processes.
Progress Report (5 min.)
Quickly report on you current progress. Is your project on track? If not, why? How much time did you spend? If you previously adjusted your plan, highlight this and tell us why and how you went about it.

The presentation is part of your final grade. To ensure a high-quality presentation, we recommend you to contact your STG supervisor for feedback. Bring an own laptop (with VGA connector) to present, we provide you with a VGA cable. At most two team members should present. Please also remember to submit the review slides.

Show your QA footprint, e.g., CI, test run, and coverage statistics, acceptance-test protocols, or code-review checklists. Tell us which measures you planned, which ones helped you best, and which ones you ditched in favor of others and why.
